Jude is now working on a new alabaster sculpture to be exhibited with Jaggedart at COLLECT 2018, the International Art Fair for Contemporary Objects.
Now in its 14th edition, COLLECT takes place at its usual residency in the Saatchi Gallery in London’s Kings Road from 22nd – 25th February 2017.
Collect brings together 39 galleries from four continents for a celebration of making, extraordinary in both scale and scope. Museum-quality works and installations from hundreds of the most talented makers in the UK, USA, South Korea, Japan, France, Norway, Italy, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden will offer visitors and collectors a multidisciplinary overview of the people, processes, materials and ideas defining international craft in 2018.
Jude has been selected to show her work again at on form 18. This will be the fourth time that she has shown her work in this wonderful exhibition which takes place every two years at Asthall Manor, near Burford in Oxfordshire – a stunning house and garden which was once the home of the young Mitford sisters.
Running from 10 June to 8 July 2018, on form is the only exhibition in the UK dedicated exclusively to stone sculpture and it takes great pride in the quality of the work on display, the sensitivity of its placement in the glorious Windrush Valley setting and the unique ‘Please Do Touch’ policy.
The exhibition welcomed over 7,000 visitors to on form 16 which placed 268 sculptures by 39 sculptors from all over the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands. Nearly half of our participating sculptors were women and a record 176 sculptures were sold.
This summer a number of Jude’s students are exhibiting their work at Sculpture at Kingham Lodge in Oxfordshire. Mike Penfold, Peter Nava, Samar Sharif (collectively collaborating as Stone Forms) and Cliff Vince will all have their work on display from 5th to 13th May 2018.
Sculpture at Kingham Lodge is a fabulous day out with hundreds of sculptures displayed across five acres of beautiful gardens in the heart of the Cotswolds. They have hosted a charitable sculpture exhibition biennially since 2012, welcoming thousands of visitors and raising over £80,000 for charity.
